Hello this is the application for wxbc djs. YEAHHH!

We offer 2 hour, once weekly time slots for students, faculty, staff and community members.The due date for applications is ????? (currently undecided). We will review all applications within a week of the due date and organize a schedule from there. We're looking for people to be part of the WXBC family who are super-cool, responsible, polite, and know how to responsibly carry on in a communal space. We are looking to expand from our Spring 2008 hours of 10am-2am daily, so if you are actually an early bird or night owl please write that in the comments section. We expect DJs to maintain the station appropriately and attend all shows. If you can't commit to that, please don't apply for a show. We have a policy of kicking DJs off of their shows if they miss more than two shows without getting a replacement, so though we are really nice, we mean business. We want you to know that before you apply.

Broadcasting will begin within a week of the application due date. All accepted DJs will be notified before that date. Expect to attend a meeting on about our DJ policies, tech stuff, and WXBC structure if accepted. Watch the news section of the website for updated information about the Fall 2008 semester.

If your show isn't music-based, please describe in depth an example of a typical episode and what kinds of topics will be covered. Don't try to impress us, just write what you would actually do. For two hours. Try to be specific. For extra credit, you can campus mail a mix CD to Emily at Box 1804.
